During the first week of March we had a spell of some very nice weather. During this week we had temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. This was warm enough to get me excited. After debating what to do, my dad and I decided to float the canyon section of the Southfork in an overnight trip. We had a great time together and were able to catch a bunch of fish. A total of 46 were landed. Out of the 46 we kept 3 rainbows to eat and the rest we released after a quick picture.

Fall 2015 Run
I love Fall fishing. It is a time of year most anglers get excited about. As the trout prepare to spawn they have the natural instinct to move to the upper sections of the rivers. During this time they are on the move and aggressive. The following pictures summarize the experience I had this fall as I floated and fished with some great friends and of course family. Most of my time was spent on the lowest section on the Southfork between the Lorenzo and Menan boat ramps but also fished other sections of the Southfork and Salt River.
